Mumbai Blasts - 13/07

The Mumbai blasts that rocked the populated cities of KabutarKhana in Dadar, Zaveri Bazaar & the Opera House killed about 21 people and injured 141*. All that was left after the blasts were a few scattered limbs and a pool of blood. What a feast?

Dear terrorists, don’t you see what damage you have done?
Don’t you evil-minded animals have a heart for the families who have lost their loved ones? Don’t you realize that for the 141 injured people things will never be the same again? Why don’t you empathize with them? Put yourself in their shoes and try to assess the situation. If the target was a dumb ass politician, it would not make much of a difference. But, for Christ’s sake, why the common people who are just working hard for their living? The victims of the blast may have not even had a chance to say goodbye to their loved ones. Do you think they deserved this?

Well, think again. You are doing no good spreading terror in the hearts & minds of people. If you really want to do something for the country, then go ahead, fight the injustice & punish those that are at fault. We already have enough hatred in our society to bear with.

What is the government going to do about it? Let me guess. Its either going to be a condolence visit or an enquiry into the matter and that’s it. In a week, everything will be forgotten. Things will get back to normal and, finally, the people who have lost their lives in this incident will have no value. How many more blasts are we going to see in the future? Why are measures not taken to eradicate terrorism from the root-level? The police are aware of the hide-outs of the dangerous criminals but either they are scared of the outcome or they are just pretending that they never knew anything. And we citizens are at the mercy of these cowards always hoping that things will get better someday just to realize that everything gets even worse.

Everyone has a dream & so did the 21 people who lost their lives. I just hope that we all get united for a common cause & the world will be a better place to live in. Don’t know when it will happen. Just hoping… Praying…
